Slow-roll inflation in Palatini F(R) gravity

چکیده

We study single field slow-roll inflation in the presence of $F(R)$ gravity Palatini formulation. In contrast to metric $F(R)$, when rewritten terms an auxiliary and moved Einstein frame, does not develop a new dynamical degree freedom. However, it is possible solve analytically constraint equation for general $F(R)$. propose method that allows us circumvent this issue compute inflationary observables. apply test scenarios form $F(R) = R + \alpha R^n$ find that, as previously known $n=2$ case, large $\alpha$ suppresses tensor-to-scalar ratio $r$. also models with increasing faster than $R^2$ $R$ suffer from numerous problems.
